Our handcrafted Sophia necklace is a piece that can be worn for all occasions. The increasing size of the pearls symbolises the gradual growth in life as we move from chapter to chapter towards our end goal. Pearls are imperfect, and they are celebrated, and so should we. At Gaïa, we would like this necklace to be a reminder of that. The gold orb is the focal piece of the necklace, with a textured surface and off-centred ethical lab grown diamond. This orb is to remind to the wearer that flaws are beautiful and as a human there is no such standard as being ‘perfect’. Rather, we should seek wholesomeness. Our fine necklace celebrates the beauty of individuality, authenticity and nature’s raw imperfections! We are not perfect - but we can still be beautiful.

Handmade from approximately 40 x 1mm pearls, 19 x 3.5-4mm pearls, 8 x 5-8mm pearls, 6 x 8-9mm pearls, 6 x 10-11mm pearls. All of our Fresh Rice Water Pearls are handpicked for each design to make sure they compliment each other in shape, size and colour. The centre orb and chain is handmade from recycled silver, plated with 5 micron yellow gold plating 18ct with a 3mm of-centred colourless ethical lab grown diamond. All diamonds in this design range between D-F Colourless and VS Clarity.

We recommend that you ensure your pearls avoid any contact with perfumes, hair products, body creams and cosmetics. Remove your Gaïa jewellery before bed, showering and hand washing. To avoid any scratching of your Gaïa jewellery, please store safely in our bamboo cotton cushioned recycled boxes. Following every wear, gently wipe your pearls using a soft lint-free cloth.
